Maersk Drilling´s rig Maersk Resilient won the Offshore Safety Award 2018 for fine results by implementing:

  • A hands/finger campaign: this included information on preventive and corrective actions through safety meetings and was followed up by workshops with all crew involved.
  • Safety Leadership Matrix: all of the Maersk Drilling positions had a day where they were ‘Team Safety Leader of the Day’.
  • A movie campaign to highlight ‘silent consent’: Each department from each crew has produced footage from situations where silent consent takes place. This has been followed up by discussions.
