Nearly 100 people participated in the opening reception to congratulate Oil Gas Denmark with the new office.
Mayor Johnny Søtrup (V) gave the opening speech where he underlined Esbjerg’s central role in connection to the collaboration in the North Sea.
“Esbjerg has always been the centre of Danish offshore activities in the North Sea, and with a new Oil Gas Denmark office here, we have attained great potential of future collaboration on the field.”
In addition, the Mayor ensured that Esbjerg will be a prime location for Oil Gas Denmark’s second office.
“As I welcome Oil Gas Denmark to Esbjerg, I can only assure you that you have chosen a perfectly strategic spot to place your assets. With a well-developed network across the North Sea, Esbjerg will – also in the future – be the primary port in terms of offshore activities in the North Sea.”
The arguments are in direct line with Oil Gas Denmark’s vision and reason behind opening an office in Esbjerg. The new office will function as a key element in uniting oil and gas companies in Esbjerg and strengthen collaboration in the region, and elsewhere.
OGD’s Esbjerg office is located at Trafikhavnskaj 11, 6700 Esbjerg, Denmark.
