The service – and supplier industry on the Danish continental shelf is seen as competent and dedicated with high level of experiences in finding new and cost effective solutions in a very difficult basin, but faced with a declining production, drop in oil price and a cost structure not fit for the current marked, the service – and supplier industry is challenged and now struggling in finding a sustainable business cases for the future. In this debate we will look into the challenges and opportunities for the service and supplier industry, and what the individual companies are doing to handle the competitive and stretched market situation, still harder international competition, a general lower activity.
